The building built in the heart of Tetouan, on the site occupied until then by facilities of municipal cleaning services is located in an urban environment with an adjusted consolidated frame buildings of four floors. Promoted by the Department of Rehabilitation, solves endowments rental housing for young people, with 33 units, parking for residents, 46 places, and new facilities for municipal cleaning services. The building is planned in 2005 within the standards of quality, solutions and cost of a normal rehabilitation project, and the basis of energy approach is reducing demand through the use of simple passive bioclimatic resources, improving the insulation, sealing and ventilation. From this point the use was made in the building of a mixed system with solar thermal, geothermal uptake and geothermal heat pumps, for cooling and domestic hot water. A combined system on which the company has studied technical and economic feasibility previous with favorable results, and that was raised for full coverage of the energy demand for air conditioning.
