Mataró City Council City Council proposed the Architectural Heritage and Environmental Mataró convened the XI edition of Puig Award for Architecture and Interior Design. This call includes the works carried out during the 2004-2006 triennium.

Gathered in Mataró the July 5, 2007, the jury of the call of the Eleventh Edition of the Puig awards jury is set with prizes Second Triennial of Architecture of the Maresme, based on collaboration agreement signed between the city of Mataró and demarcation of Barcelona College of Architects of Catalunya on May 24, 2007, and consisting of:

To issue a verdict in relation to the different modes of the above prizes, and then assess and, where deemed necessary, personally visiting the finalists works declared by the Municipal Council of Architectural Heritage of Mataró, at a meeting held on dated 7 June 2007. Puig AWARD OF ARCHITECTURE
Al set of three multifamily buildings in Vallveric, architects Adolf Martínez and Josep Sisternas. (01)
Conxita Balcells and Lluís Comerón, as jurors representing the COAC, leave the session and do not participate in the deliberation or decision of the verdict, to demonstrate the independence of the jury, because participation in the award of a architect who helps address Canet headquarters of the College of Architects of Catalonia. They call record is recorded in the minutes.
The other jurors highlights an architectural proposal of three buildings with modular plant stroke and treatment of stepped platforms. The new multifamily buildings successfully resolved the relationship of buildings with the topography and both private and communal open spaces, which allows an adequate and flexible floor layout, and pays special attention to the spatial quality of hits and zones Community of buildings. The jury highlights and assesses the overall effort realitzado by technicians, developer and builder of the work, that made possible the quality of the resulting product.

The jury highlights this work for having succeeded in creating a space of quality and pleasant working atmosphere by action that values the quality of the materials and the spatial characteristics of the ancient original factory construction.
AWARD Puig INTERVENTION IN EQUITY.
In the restoration of the section of the wall of the sixteenth century can Xammar, in charge of the company atics SA. (13)
The jury assesses the social and recovery of historical memory that behaves for the city, restoration and display of an important section of the wall of the sixteenth century interest.
The work done with rigor, allows for a new urban setting, in the heart of the historical center, from which to understand and interpret the evolution of the city as well as a new space for leisure citizenship.
