The new university housing are in the same block as the School of Architecture of Vallès. The proposal seeks to maintain a balance between existing buildings, outdoor spaces and new dorm, which consists of two blocks on the ground and parallel to the street floor with a large central atrium. The project prioritizes direct relationship with campus housing, with land, adapted without elevators. The existing topography and its own organization in double barrel helps bring all vivendas position along the ground and enhance a large space where campus life will develop. The residency program for students of architecture, rental officially protected, can imagine intense cohabitation between users, both individually, thanks to the interior flexibility of housing, and collectively, thanks to the potential use of the atrium 1,000m² as a space of social events and interspace bioclimatizado helps improve building energy efficiency. The project advocates a industrialized construction using only one type of module prefabricated concrete housing without the minimum distribution and fixed elements which ensure habitability, simplifying finishes to invest in energy efficiency. Constructed mainly dry and therefore removable and recyclable or reusable. Industrialization in factory saves time, guarantees best execution control, systems implementation and dry waste minimization process works.
