WAN Awards 2014 Winner Facades

The Jury Awards WAN Facades 2014, which we announced the finalists few weeks ago, has announced the winner of this category of the World Architectural News Awards aimed to observe the architecture through the facade of the works.

AWARDS

- 1st PRIZE: EDUCATIONAL BUILDING OF HEALTH SCIENCES CO Architects (Phoenix, United States)

"It reflects the stratification of the typical rock formations landscape of canyons of the Arizona desert." As Steve Mudie (Jurors) comments, the other members to assess the finalists also recognized this attempt by CO Architects to record the project site on its outer face, relating at all times with the surroundings.
