The Rafael Manzano Martos Classical Architecture Prize and Restoration of Monuments, organized by the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture (Indiana, USA) with the collaboration of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (Madrid) and Mapfre Foundation, unveiled the winners of this current issue.
PRIZE
- JAVIER Cenicacelaya E IÑIGO Salona
For his work during decades of service to the defense and implementation of an ever-conscious architecture of context and needs of its inhabitants, "capable of integrating local tradition and classical language in modernity," the Jury Rafael Manzano Martos said prize winners of the 2014 edition and Inigo Javier Cenicacelaya Saloña.

Since the creation of his studio in 1983, and Saloña Cenicacelaya many times have contributed to the maintenance and architectural development of Biscay, consolidating "a way of making architecture away from formal corsets imposed by the architectural avant-garde. Advocating for architectural use of those resources could be valid today, reintegrating forms, languages and traditions materials to all tools available to the contemporary architect ".
