The urban planning of 'Turo Tailor "prevela the construction of a new urban system consisting of a system of linear blocks of great length and substantially parallel to each other. The blocks were placed perpendicularly, both waterfront and in the slope of the hill on which they settled, and their facades longer were oriented east and west. The orientation and volume of the block determined the type of housing and its cluster. Thus it was proposed a scheme of four apartments per floor, two east and two to the west. This provision allowed a correct asoleo housing and natural aeration of all service rooms. The total volume of the building is particularly compact (respecting the shoulder of the predetermined volume of the rules of clearances), so that the contact surface is minimized on the outside, reducing energy losses or gains. The east-west orientation of the main facade ensures the smooth running of the scheme of arrangement of housing in both orientations. This scheme greatly improves its performance thanks to the existence of the aforementioned patios, ensuring each unit cross ventilation and acquire an important dimension.
